People have used CBD for the treatment of different physiological conditions and diseases but today’s topic is about CBD use for relieving Pelvic pain during sex. You will be surprised to know that CBD offers a natural relief from Pelvic Pain During Sex. Though it is not designated as a medication, CBD has the ability to relieve pain and inflammation in the pelvic region and make sex more comfortable. But the mechanism through which CBD relief pelvic pain, is poorly understood. Still, some independent research studies have reported the following mechanism of pelvic pain relief by CBD.
ü CBD offers Natural relief from Pelvic pain during sex by interacting with the Endocannabinoid System:
Yes! You have read right, CBD can relieve Pelvic pain by interacting with the body’s Endocannabinoid System. This mechanism of CBD working is proved by many independent research studies. Endocannabinoid System is a harm reduction and an additional immunes system present in the human body. This system is responsible for the regulation of many important body functions such as memory, emotions, and sleep but the most important responsibility of the Endocannabinoid System is pain reception and inflammation reception. You will wonder that how the Endocannabinoid System works? It works by its receptors which are present throughout the body. There are two main categories of Endocannabinoid receptors, CB1 receptors, and CB2 receptors. CB2 receptors are particularly responsible for the pain reception by the CNS system of the body and inflammation production.
In the Case of Pelvic pain, CBD interacts with CB2 receptors of the Endocannabinoid system and start regulating them in way of pain reduction. CBD actually inhibits the signaling of CB2 receptors to CNS for pain reception. CBD stops inflammation producing chemical by interacting with these receptors. Hence, CBD offers natural relief from Pelvic pain during and after sex.
The working of CBD in pain-relieving is also proved by many research studies. For example, way back in 1988, a research study in London reported that CBD is four-time more effective in pain-relieving and inflammation reduction than aspirin. These results were surprising and very useful. Aspirin is a drug and its little more amount than prescribed can cause overdose. There is no such issue with the CBD because it is non-toxic and non-psychoactive. It means it will produce any high effects.
