The Diversity Visa (DV) program operates annually, with 50,000 visas available, a process that selects individuals from countries with low immigration rates to the United States หวยออนไลน์.
Applying for a Diversity Visa
The regular registration period is between October and December. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) conducts this program each year. Individuals must apply during the online registration period. Winners, if qualified, are issued a visa. There are certain eligibility requirements to qualify for the program. It is important to remember that not all countries are eligible. If more than 50,000 individuals (under the Family and Employment-Based Visa categories) have traveled to the United States in the past five years from a single country, that country is not eligible for the DV Lottery program for the current year.
Through the Diversity Visa Lottery program, you can get a green card if you are selected into the lottery program by the U.S. Department of State. In addition, you should have an immediate visa at the time you file Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Another requirement is that you must be authorized to enter the United States.
